Minor nosebleeds can be stoped at home. Calm the animal as much as possible and have it assume a sitting position, nose pointing downwards. Apply clean towels or rags soaked in cold water to the back of the neck and the nose. If bleeding does not seize, or if large amounts of blood are being lost, consult a vet immediately.
